One Day Tour to Edirne - We will make an early start traveling west to the city of Edirne. The Selimiye camii in Edirne is one of the truly magnificent examples of the architecture of reknown Miman Sinan. The mosque was built in the late 16th century. Surrounded by four very slender, fluted minarets the mosque has a serenity and harmony that the visitor will feel immediately. Then we will see the Eski camii built in the early 15rh century. This camii has huge calligraphy on its walls that is almost overwhelming. We will make a short stop at the Bedesten bazaar. Here you can stroll through the shops situated in an early 15th century complex. Finally, we will visit the newly opened Vakiflar museum with its collection of rugs and kilims.
